Why it's best: This race came down to two brands, CoPilot and Kettler, both companies make stable, safe and easy to use seats – the ultimate decision came down to my comfort while riding with the seat on and the kids comfort through the ride. The Taxi from CoPilot took the top spot because I felt it protected the kids incredibly well, it was easy to use and my kids seemed to be more comfortable in this seat than the others.
This seat does take a few minutes to install, but in reality, the majority of that time is spent installing the luggage rack that the seat locks into. I’ve seen reviews where users complained quite a bit about the difficulty of installation, but if you’ve got a socket set and actually take the time to read the instructions it honestly wasn’t bad at all.
